The image is sharpened at full resolution first. The preview is a scaled view of that exact processed image; JPEG export uses the same full-resolution pixels. JPEG export preserves original EXIF, XMP and IPTC metadata (including captions, credits and keywords). Orientation is normalized to avoid double rotation. ICC profiles are not copied because browser canvas may convert colors to sRGB. This tool uses edge-aware unsharp masking, not the lost original Wiener algorithm. Severe defocus cannot be reliably recovered by this method.
